Driving in — what to expect

From Adelaide (south)

Follow Highway 1 north for ~3.5 hours. The motel is on your right as you enter the southern outskirts of Port Augusta. Look for the orange "B Budget Motels" sign.

From the north / Stuart Hwy

Coming down from Coober Pedy, Alice Springs, or Uluru? Stay on the Stuart Highway/A87 until it merges with Highway 1 — we're on your left as you approach the city.

Bus & coach

The Greyhound and State Liner coach stop is a short walk away. Step off, walk to reception, check in. We can help with onward travel info too.

By plane

Port Augusta Airport is a 14-minute drive away. Rex Airlines operates flights from Adelaide. Taxi or rideshare to the motel is easy and inexpensive.

Reception is staffed from 9 AM to 8 PM daily. If you're rolling in later than that — long-haul truckers, late-finishing crews, after-hours flights — we've got you sorted.
